The Energizer Bunny

Hi all, I just got off the phone with Dad and he kind of gave me a run down of the day. So here goes.
They had a really good night last night sleep wise. Dad was able to sleep I think Christy said for about 5 straight hours. Believe me he needed it. They woke up this morning and Mom was pretty coherent she ate quite a bit of breakfast and was doing pretty well. She again kept saying "I need to poop" so they thought well she's doing pretty well lets try and take her to the toilet well the problem was every time they sit her up her blood pressure drops way too low and she starts to pass out again. When they took her pressure while she was laying down it was like 190 over 100 but then when they try to get her up it drops to 130 over 60.
At one point they were changing her pants and Christy noticed she had another blockage. So up they went again (at least this time Christy brought latex gloves ha ha) Christy pulled a few more of the hard turds out, then they just left her pants off with the nursing home pads under her. Well they went in a bit later to check on her and she got the blockage out to say the least! Dad said it wasn't "quite as bad" as the very first one but it was still amazing on how much has has pooped. And yes there was a rather large solid piece in the mess. So anyway she's just doing really well tonight she's coming back more and more. She knows every ones names again, she's been able to carry on conversations, she's even started moving her legs and stuff on her own. 2 days ago We thought it was the end. Dad thought for sure he had lost her. But now she's just doing great. They just need to get her blood pressure more stable and they got some advice from a Dr. who said to stop giving her the blood pressure medication for a few days so it can rise up a little. Dad canceled his app with Carol for tomorrow and will try again on Sat. But again if Mom isn't strong enough to stand he wont take her down. Mom is fighting so hard to stick around. She just keeps Going, and Going, and Going........
